Programs
The Community
Foundation for Southeast Michigan ("Community Foundation") may from
time to time use this site to secure contributions by providing matching
funds. During these matching gift opportunities, the Community Foundation
may set gift size ranges or limits on the amount a donor can contribute
either cumulatively or to one or more charitable purposes or organizations.
These ranges or limits are not intended to impair the right of credit card
holders and bank account owners to otherwise access their accounts or lines of
credit, nor, if applicable, otherwise limit the ability of donor advisors to
recommend grants from Community Foundation donor advised funds. In those
matching gift program instances, please contact the Community Foundation
(313.961.6675) directly if you wish to make a gift or recommend a grant that
falls outside the allowable ranges or limits of the match program so that we
may make arrangements to accommodate your transaction. By using this site
to make a charitable gift, users agree that they are seeking the assistance of
the Community Foundation to make those gifts without the solicitation of the
Community Foundation and that the situs of the gift transaction is the state of
Michigan. The laws of the state of Michigan will apply to all such
transactions and donors will personally submit to the jurisdiction of the state
of Michigan, Wayne county courts, in resolving any disputes.

www.cfsem.org and http://cfsem.guidestar.org (individually and collectively,
the “Site”) available to provide valuable information to individuals,

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be construed and governed by the laws of the State of
Michigan, United States of America without regard to choice of law principles.
By using this Site, you agree that the courts located in Wayne County, Michigan
shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any action brought relating to
the use of this Site or these terms of use.
Changes to Terms of Use
The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan may amend these terms of use
from time to time. Such changes will be publicly posted in this area of our
Site and, unless you send us a written notice that you do not accept the
change(s), they will take effect ten (10) days from the date of posting.
